\*\*Job Description:\*\* We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including invoicing, applying payments, and managing collections.
This role requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently.
\*\*Responsibilities:\*\* 1.
Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
2.
Process and apply incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
3.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.
4.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
5.
Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
6.
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
7.
Carry out collection efforts on outstanding accounts in a professional and effective manner.
8.
Prepare reports detailing accounts receivable status.
9.
Assist with month-end closing processes.
10.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information.
11.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
\*\*Requirements:\*\* 1.
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
2.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
3.
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
4.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
5.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
6.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
7.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
8.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9.
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.
