Project Management Coordinator - Ontario, CA Reports to: Director of Client Services Location: Onsite – Oxnard, California Pay Scale: Non-Exempt Pay Transparency: In order to comply with equal pay and pay transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of pay for this role is fair in all locations within the United States.
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
Role summary A Project Management Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and managing various parts of the project to ensure its success.
This will include assigning and monitoring as well as creating reports and updating the Project Management Team as well as other members of management.
Essential responsibilities • Assisting Project Managers with specific administrative tasks related to assigned projects.
• Organize and communicate all the details of projects and specific assignments to team members and serve as a liaison between those team members and project manager.
• Interact with internal teams to communicate status and gather requirements– Engineers, Estimator, Programmer, etc.
• Rapidly learn the product design intent and requirements.
• Monitoring daily progress of projects.
• Ability to provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders.
• Organizing reports, invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access.
• Planning meetings and organizing project logistics.
• Performing billing and bookkeeping tasks.
• Compile and present project status, schedule, and budget to company management • Monitor project progress and address potential issues.
• Measure and report on project performance and identify any potential obstacles that may disrupt the flow of the project’s successful completion.
• Provide support to Project Managers as needed.
• Incumbent must be able to adapt into an extremely fast-paced environment and implement structure, efficiency, and quality, while meeting the demands of an agile organization.
Qualifications • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years or more years working in project management support for manufacturing company.
• Strong Excel required (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS and other) • Must be a team player and willing to jump in and help to meet company deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high degree of organization.
• Must be able to thrive in fast paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and meet tight deadlines.
• Must use judgment, be very detail oriented and use judgement.
• Must be comfortable being very hands on to help drive process improvement.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Results Driven.
Education: • High school diploma, 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute a plus.
