A lovely family in the Ventura County area in Ojai is seeking an occasional babysitter for their child, a happy and easygoing 1 year old.
Care would be needed on an occasional basis when the child cannot attend their regular daycare due to closure or mild illnesses.
An ideal candidate will be calm, caring, and able to provide lots of positive reinforcement.
* *Start Date: *April 1st, 2024

* Occasional, as-needed
* Primarily weekdays, with occasional date nights (daytime availability required)
* Approximately 8am to 5pm
* Family is flexible on days care is needed
* Care will be schedule in advance when possible
* *Rate: *$23-28/hr
* *1 child: *1 years old
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Excellent care for 1 child
* Engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Maintaining child’s routine (bath time, nap schedule, cloth diapering)
* Serve and monitor meals
* Tidying after child, as-needed
* Going on outings/strolls in the family’s safe and walkable community
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* 2+ years of childcare experience (toddler experience preferred)
* Authorized to work in the United States
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Driver’s license with reliable vehicle
* CPR certified or willing to become certified
* Comfortable with family’s 2 large dogs
*Compensation: *The position pays $23-28 per hour, and the family is looking for occasional care.
