JOB SUMMARY:
It is the job of the Housekeeper to ensure that all Residents individual apartments are cleaned daily per the posted Schedule of the Housekeeping Policies and Procedures.
Housekeepers are also responsible for cleaning all common areas within the community.
This position reports to Housekeeping Supervisor / Maintenance Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following list of cleaning duties:
Clean all Residents individual apartments on a daily basis according to the posted Schedule (see Housekeeping Policies and Procedures).
Clean all common areas within the community including the Living Room area, hallways, offices, public restrooms, dining room, nurses station, library, activity room and employee break room.
On occasion you may be asked to do the Residents personal laundry as well as facility laundry according to the posted schedule.
Housekeeping staff will maintain and complete all designated items on cleaning schedule and adhere to Housekeeping policies and procedures.
The Housekeeper must have knowledge and experience with housekeeping and sanitation procedures guidelines set by Local, State and Federal Regulations as outlined in company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
ORIENTATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Good physical health shall be verified by a Health Certification by a physician not more than (6) months prior to or (7) days after employment.
This certification must verify that the Housekeeper has no communicable diseases, open lesions, or any other health problem, which could interfere with individuals job performance.
This person must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
Grandfathered employees are exempt from this requirement.
This person must be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan process prior to employment.

All employees are expected to report to work on time or give your Supervisor sufficient notice (i.
e.
minimum of 4 hours) prior to the start of your shift if you are unable to work.
This position requires orientation to Regency Palms Oxnard its policies and procedures, physical building and the Residents.
The Company will provide ongoing orientation to job responsibilities, including disaster, first aid and emergency procedures.
This person understands that Regency Palms Oxnard operates as a Drug Free Workplace per Policies set forth in the Company Handbook.
The Housekeeper routinely lifts up to 20lbs.
This person also does, bending, stretching, reaching, sweeping, mopping, pushing and pulling on a daily basis.
