Dance Instructor

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to teach at our Summer Program, July 8-19 and July 29-August 9, two days per week and the final Friday, from 9 am-4pm.
As a Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your love for dance with students ages 5-12 in our summer program.
This is a paid position that offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire and educate dancers in a supportive and creative environment.
For larger classes, you will be assigned an associate teacher to assist you.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging dance lesson plans for students ages 5-12.
- Teach modern dance techniques.
- Lead the students in a performance at the end of each summer program.
- Manage student behavior and ensure discipline when necessary.
Skills: - Strong knowledge of modern dance styles and techniques.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Ability to work effectively with students ages 5-12.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate students.
- Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
