Preschool Teacher/ Teacher Assistant (Ventura)

FUMC Methodist Church looking for Full time Infant and Toddler Teachers/Assistants Our small school is GROWING! We are a small Methodist Preschool seeking Infant and Toddler teachers to join our preschool community.
Our preschool offers an infant program for 8 babies with 3 teachers and a toddler class of 12.
We are looking for Infant and toddler teachers with skill and/or experience providing care and supervision for children while also providing them with educational development, love, giggles, and a messy day! Requirements.
6-12 ECE units with Infant/Toddler units are preferred or willing to take infant/toddler course.
- Knowledge of the biological, physical, and psychological stages of a child’s development from infancy through 5 years.
Skills or experience to provide educational and spiritual leadership supporting preschool philosophy in all practices and curriculum planning.
Experience or skill with using a variety of techniques and strategies to ensure an effective delivery of instruction in a classroom.
2 years’ experience preferred.
Positive attitude and the ability to establish working relationships with staff, children, parents, and church members.
Mandated Reporter training CPR Certified a plus or can be trained.
Background and fingerprint clearance 18.
00 per hour Full time/part time hours between 7:30-4:30 M-F
