I am your one-stop shop for everything Accounting & Finance.
I operate as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and I have over 35 years of hands-on experience in all kinds of industries.
My specialty is in the "Forensics" of accounting.
That means, I am into the detail and can split the hairs.
If you need anything tracked or for cases such as an audit, an extensive clean-up of the books, a corporate dissolution, embezzlement or even a divorce then, I am the one for you!! I work with any small to medium sized business that is not a corporate environment; C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC and the like are most welcome and of course, I can also work with a multi-entity business enterprise.
It is important to note here that, as an Incorporated Business, not only do you file a Corporate Tax Return (1120), but you are also on the hook with a responsibility to file a Personal Tax Return (1040).
As you can see, there is also a need for a personal set of books.
Whatever your preference; plot your personal receipts on a spreadsheet, keeping a file with them in it; gather your receipts and separate each by category and then add them together with a grand total at the end of the year or, by entering them into your accounting software.
I will work with anyone individually and in the case of a divorce -as I know from experience- this area can be quite costly if you go the Forensic Accountant route through your or the other one's Attorney referral.
I can get you the same information, they will need for your case, at a fraction of the cost.
I've done many start-ups, and I can help you create your company and get you on the map.
It is often that I am the only office staff, so I am also skilled on the administrative side of office life too.
As for Software, I am proficient in Quickbooks for PC, MAC and Online.
I've been using Quickbooks consistently since 2002.
I can train you on any version (Contractors, Manufacturers, Retail, Accountants, Professional, Premier, Enterprise and, Pro - Any year).
I am also self-taught in American Contractor and Sage Master Builder - both are used for the Construction Industry, and I know Amicus, used in Law Offices.
I've done lots of Retail and am well versed in Inventory Control.
I've done lots of work in Service & Repair.
I've also got experience in Fitness Clubs.
I've done some work in the Medical Industry.
I spent 15 years with an Auto Body & Repair Shop.
I've done Towing & Transportation as well and while I was there, I participated in the start-up of a Limousine Company.
I've got lots of Construction experience too and I know about Liens and Job Costing.
I can help you through any Small Claim Case should you find it necessary file with the court system.
I've also got F&B experience and lastly, I have the know how in billing and client trust accounts for a Law Firm and for one of these practices, I was on board for the start-up.
Aside from the normal year end filings, I am CTEC Certified and can do 1040's w/ schedules.
I am well versed in tax filings for Sales and Payroll.
For Payroll, I can file in all 50 States.
I'd like to add here, while I am not yet qualified, I am getting my feet wet on Corporate Tax returns (C & S-Corps, LLC's, LLP's).
For now though, on these, I work with a great Tax Accountant who can get you filed ON TIME!!
I can do Payroll in Quickbooks and I've used payroll agencies too.
I can even figure everyone's payroll by hand.
I am proficient in HR functions and I can issue W-2's and 1099's.
I'm diligent in filing all reporting with the EDD once we hire and or dismiss personnel.
I will respond immediately to any and all correspondence on claims and, I can also manage a staff.
My personality is sunny and warm.
I am proactive and I find that people genuinely like working with me because they see I'm the one that gets things done and I'm always happy to do it.
I am serious minded, resourceful and follow up is important to me.
I often get jobs where I'm hired over the phone or, when I meet with them I either stay or start the next day.
Somehow people just 'get me'.
I am dedicated to my profession.
I am reliable and very, very loyal to my post.
In my field of expertise, there is no shortage of work so I am -only- seeking part time, full days work.
I do want a permanent place either on site or remote and I do keep a very flexible.
Of course, I'm not a 'No' kind of person and I will accept temporary projects.
