*JOB SUMMARY*
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Supervisor to manage a team of drivers and fleet, ensuring D.
O.
T safety compliance and proper maintenance of the fleet.
*Only apply if you have a minimum of five years, recent transportation supervisory experience.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Manage day-to-day transportation activities throughout Southern California and Nevada.
· Build loads, set schedules, dispatch drivers.
· Supervise drivers to achieve timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries of over 100 trailers per day.
· Keep track of delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
· Develop and implement procedures that minimize driver downtime and improve fleet safety.
· Implement training protocol for all drivers at multiple locations.
· Use software to monitor deliveries, optimize operations and driver productivity.
· Evaluate driver performance, provide guidance and feedback, and discipline as necessary.
· Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
· Organize documentation and oversee procedures for periodic D.
O.
T audits of the transportation department.
*REQUIRED SKILLS*
· Minimum five years of supervisory experience, Agriculture industry preferred.
· Record of successful transportation management
· Ability to lead and manage staff.
· Knowledge of D.
O.
T Regulations.
