Skills and responsibilities:
- Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules.
- Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle
- Deliver cabinets of varying size and weight in varying situations (stairs, narrow passages, tight corners, over railings)
- Delegate tasks and communicate effectively with delivery helpers.
- Accurately account for all parts on delivery manifests.
- Safely tie down, blanket, and protect high-end custom cabinetry in transit.
- Must be able to read measurements accurately.
- Properly maintain, inspect, and organize delivery truck.
- Perform delegated instructions with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- When not delivering jobs, fall back to assist with cabinet hardware and sanding
Qualifications:
- Valid CA driver's license with a clean driver's record.
- 2+ years', verifiable, experience driving 2 or 3 axle moving or delivery truck (25 foot+ Long truck).
- Must be able to lift 100+ lbs.
and stand for long periods of time.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times, according to our company standards.
