The F&B Pool Supervisor is primarily responsible for the smooth functioning and service aspect of a full service pool restaurant.
This individual leads a team of F&B associates in delivering the highest caliber of luxury service to guests.
Leads by example in creating a professional atmosphere that is inviting for guests, promoting and enhancing the dining experience.
Conducts new hire and continuing education training.
Oversees scheduling based on business.
Consistently performs serving and bussing duties.
Ensures all areas remain clean, guest ready and well stocked.
Handles guest issues, bringing them to a satisfactory resolution.
Observes safety standards at the restaurant and performs necessary functions to promote accident prevention.
Essential:
Minimum two (2) years prior experience as a lead server and/or Supervisor in an upscale establishment or in a leadership position.
Fluency in the English language.
Thorough knowledge of proper service.
Experience training food & beverage service staff in food and beverage and proper service etiquette.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Experience with guest service in a fast paced environment.
High energy, flexible and adaptable.
Professional appearance and demeanor, positive attitude and excellent communication ability.
Ability to provide service efficiently while conveying a warm and friendly demeanor.
Track record exhibits the ability anticipate guest needs.
Ability to remember orders with accuracy.

Experience with Food & Beverage Point-of-Sale Systems.
Desirable:
Fluency in a foreign language
Supervisory or Supervisorial training or experience.
Experience in hospitality/restaurant industry in similar position.
TIPS certification.
CPR certification.
ServSafe certification.
Previous guest relations training.
Experience with Micros POS.

Control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
Assist Management in aspects of the Food & Beverage operation including:
Controlling costs
Maintaining par and inventory levels
Requisition and distribution of products
Produce schedules for restaurant staff to ensure proper coverage based on the forecast and business levels.
Observe performance and proactively coach, counsel and discipline associates.
Constantly monitor staff’s grooming, demeanor and professionalism to ensure compliance with both OVI&S and Five Diamond Standards.
Handle guest complaints or concerns.
Recognize and address potentially intoxicated, disruptive or undesirable guests.
Service VIP areas (i.

cabanas) and ensure delivery and presentation of the applicable amenities.
Engage with guests and create a lively, enjoyable atmosphere while exhibiting professionalism, attentiveness and exemplary service.
