JT4 Point Mugu Sea Range is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer who can work independently as a project leader, applying software development processes, engineering principles, procedures, and techniques to perform software and systems engineering assignments related to the development of electronic and software-intensive systems and subsystems.
The position is eligible for part-time and/ or remote work.

Range Requirements Provides technical direction to team members and managers.
Outlines and communicates the most appropriate technical approach for business development activities.
Identifies, investigates and resolves technical issues.

Working knowledge of a wide range of Local (LAN) and wide-area networks (WAN) systems and technology such as Network protocols.

Understand and Follow Software Development Processes and Software Coding Standards.
Understand PMSR various instrumentation systems usage and application.
Advance knowledge and usage of PMSR common display system (CDS) and data network Infrastructure and application (RTDIR).
Understand Agile and SCRUM methodology.
Supporting new business development efforts through leading and writing proposal.
Analyzes system design problems and performs design studies.
Develops plans, conducts and directs research and development.
Develops and applies advanced systems methods, theories and research techniques.
Directs, coordinates and contributes to compilation and writing of proposal documents.
Prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative solutions.
Provides functional or resource planning guidance to program, engineering and management staff.
Interfaces with team members, management staff, customers, subcontractors and vendors.
Solves complex and difficult software and engineering problems.
Identifies software and systems engineering process improvements and enforces the execution of them across the organization.
