As the Senior Emissions Technician, you are responsible for performing emission tests and assisting in maintenance and calibration of the test equipment.
You will remove parts from the vehicle, drain fluids including gas or diesel fuel, read fault memories, and check the car for potential problems.
You perform necessary repairs on cars to the highest standards; these repairs include problem investigation as well as conduct check-in and check-out procedures to ensure highest level of quality on these cars.
You will setup vehicles on a dynamometer in a test cell, test the equipment, operate test cell automation system, and measure equipment.
You will evaluate and document test data according to checklists and perform equipment calibration as instructed.
In support of BMW of North America’s business objectives, this position requires regular, full-time attendance at a BMW facility.
