Limited X Ray Technologist

*We invite you to come join our RadNet | Rolling Oaks Radiology team as a Limited X-Ray Technologis*t.
This Full -Time career opportunity has a Monday-Friday schedule, and will be located at one of our Ventura County locations.
In this Limited X-ray Tech position you'll get to: * Perform high quality digital X-ray exams on incoming patients (within the legal scope of your license).
* Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.
* Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
* Respond to physician questions regarding exams.
* Answer phones and greet incoming patients and visitors.
* Register patients, perform insurance verification, and collect co-pays.
* Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.
* May on occasion travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.
* Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
*Requirements* * BLS certification issued by AHA * CA State Limited X-ray Technician Permit (MUST INCLUDE/COVER DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY, CHEST, EXTREMITIES, SKULL, AND TORSO-SKELETAL) * Successful completion of a limited X-Ray Technician program * High School Diploma Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.
00 - $27.
