Hello,
We are looking to rehome two huskies (1 male / 1 female) together, if not possible we will consider separating them but would need to carefully consider.
Our life circumstances are changing and we are selling our home and downsizing.
They have always lived with ample space (a yard) and having them in a patio apartment is not a good life.
These guys are the cutest together, they love outdoor adventures and would best be suited with a single person or couple who does not have kids.
If you do have a family, the male does very well, the female is slow to trusting new/a lot of people (she likes a calm environment) but once she knows you, she is very loving and loyal.
They do well around our adult chickens under supervision (we believe they have very good potential to be farm dogs - the male sort of herds).
The female fetches around 80% of the time, she’d probably be good for duck hunting.
They understand basic commands (sit, drop, wait, left, right, slow, inside, outside, down, come here).
They love to pull you on a sled at snow.
They *don’t* pull on leash when using a prong collar, and pull well on snow or for a bike ride with their harness vest.
They are full of love, sleep all day but love their exercise! Keep the food hidden or they will find a way to get the snack from the counter.
And make sure to lock your gates, huskies are well known escape artists!
If you are interested in meeting them please contact us, we are willing to drive and meet somewhere.
We would love to see the home or through a video call.
Please share with someone who you think would be a great fit, their names are Sky and River.
We are praying for a good home, thank you!!
