Job Summary:
As a Fundraising and Special Projects Coordinator at Concerned Resource and Environmental Workers (CREW), you will play a crucial role in securing funds and obtaining accreditation from The Corps Network and other entities.
This position requires a strong background in fundraising,and organization management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building relationships with potential donors and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with The Corps Network for achieving and maintaining accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
* *Fundraising Development: *
* Collaborate with the management team to create a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
* Proposal Development: Research and identify potential funding opportunities, under the direction of the Grant Manager prepare minor grant reports and/or proposals, and submittals.
* Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, including individuals, organizations, and businesses.
Develop strategies to engage donors and ensure their ongoing support.
* Fundraising Events: Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and post events, including donor appreciation, and community engagement activities.
May include depositing checks,appeal letters, thank you’s and newsletters.
* *Collaboration and Teamwork: *
* Work closely with the management team, staff members, and field staff to coordinate fundraising efforts and maximize impact.
Provide guidance and support to team members involved in fundraising initiatives.
* *Accreditation Process: *
* Lead the organization's efforts in obtaining accreditation from The Corps Network.
Familiarize yourself with the accreditation standards, coordinate the required documentation, and ensure compliance with all requirements.
* Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, grants, and donor interactions.
Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, including revenue projections, expenses, and success metrics.
* *Social Media:*
* Develop or assist with relevant and regular content for CREW program social media channels( field team, OUW,GVP)
Desired Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of equivalent work experience in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, business administration, or communications.
* Proven track record in fundraising, which may include grant writing and securing donations from diverse sources, donor database management and appeal writing.
* Familiarity with the accreditation process and standards of The Corps Network (or other relevant accrediting bodies) is highly desirable and preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey the organization's mission and impact to potential donors.
* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.
* Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
* Proficiency in using fundraising software, databases, and other relevant tools such as donorbox, paypal etc.
* A commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable resource management.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35,000.
00 - $40,000.
