Responsibilities:
NV5’s Ventura CA office is seeking Field Technicians and Special Inspectors with experience in one or more of the following:
soil inspection
reinforced concrete
masonry
spray applied fireproofing
structural steel/welding inspection or non-destructive testing
Qualifications:
Candidates should be:
an ACI Level I Field Technician, ICC reinforced concrete, AWS CWI, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Fireproofing, ICC Structural Steel Bolting or Welding, certified welding inspector or NDT (ultrasonic, magnetic-particle or liquid penetrant).
DSA Structural Masonry Inspectors are highly sought.
Caltrans certification are a plus.
Our office is located in Ventura, CA and we offer services throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles counties and sometimes farther afield.
The majority of our work is on public infrastructure subject to CA Prevailing Wages
