Ventura Computer & Network Technician: Hands-on, High-Tech Hero!
Ready to be the tech wizard our customers rely on? We're seeking a talented, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Computer & Network Technician in our Ventura location.
This hands-on role demands expertise across the board, from building PCs to tackling complex network issues.
You'll be our boots-on-the-ground IT superhero, providing in-store, on-site, and remote support to keep our clients' tech worlds running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
• Diagnose and repair all types of hardware and software, from workstations and servers to printers and network gear.
Design and install cabling, routers, switches, and more.
• Conquer advanced network issues – think WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, access points, and security.
Be the architect of reliable, secure networks from design to installation.
• Become our client's trusted tech advisor, clearly explaining solutions and progress.
Strong communication skills are key, both in person and in writing.
• Embrace new challenges and technologies with flexibility and a thirst for learning.
Think on your feet and troubleshoot the unfamiliar.
• Work on in-store projects, on-site visits, and remote support with efficiency.
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a productive workflow.
You'll be a great fit if:
•2+ years of IT support experience is your foundation.
•You're fluent in Windows, macOS, Active Directory, and server operating systems.
•Advanced network knowledge (WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, security) is your playground.
•Experience with Exchange, o365, Mikrotik, Sonicwall, Ubiquiti, and managed backup solutions is a major plus.
•You can terminate, test, and troubleshoot cables like a pro.
•Ladders, heights, and power tools don't faze you.
•You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love solving problems.
•Clear communication (written and verbal) is your superpower.
