DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist with the install of new services on new houses/new construction.
Working knowledge of PVC, cast iron, gas piping installation.
Locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using ruler, spirit level, and plumb bob.
Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools.
Cuts and threads pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine.
Install plumbing finishing and equipment as per plans.
Calculate material take-off's.
Minimal Qualifications:
2+ years of plumbing commercial and/or residential experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specification (structural, architectural, civil, plumbing and cut sheets)
Must be organized and maintain a clean work site
Set all types of fixtures for finish
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
