Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish - Oversee a team of workers and ensure they are following safety protocols and completing tasks efficiently - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements - Estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment - Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones, and deadlines - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution - Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards - Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is being done according to specifications and regulations - Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of carpentry, stucco, drywall, masonry, welding, and fabrication techniques - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools - Familiarity with construction estimating and project management software is a plus - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings - Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
