Responsibilities:
• Onboarding of new employees, testing, applications, new hire/employee handbook, I-9, E-Verify, W-4s etc.
• Prepare, review and process payroll on a weekly basis.
• Direct Deposits.
• Wage garnishments, Cal Savers, etc.
• Weekly payroll tax deposits.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local payroll, wage and hour laws, including training, policies and
procedures.
• Distribute weekly “Tailgate” safety topics, other reports and sign off sheets.
• Worker’s compensation administration.
• Quarterly, annual tax returns, W-2s.
• Works closely with field supervisors, foremen and accounting manager.
• Phone back up and other duties as needed.
