Customer Service Representative (Oxnard)

Pirate Staffing is looking to fill a customer service representative position for one of our clients in Oxnard.
Potential temporary to permanent hire position based on customer needs.
Work schedule will be 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with 1 hour lunch break.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and are required to have a tetanus vaccine (either provide proof of vaccine in the past 10 years or be willing to have vaccine administered at no cost to you).
Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Phone/call center customer service experience highly preferred.
All interaction with customers will be through phone calls only, employee will be working in high volume call center.
Essential Functions Answers correspondence and questions by telephone and in person about utility billing; conducts research to answer customer inquiries; works with customers to establish payment agreements to avoid shut-off, and arrange reconnections of service; works with customers to develop delinquent payment plan; follows up on delinquent accounts to secure payment; checks inactive accounts for unpaid balances; files actions on delinquent accounts.
Performs a variety of routine to complex customer service functions including providing information, researching problems, performing billing and collections, processing development fees and issuing licenses and permits, by telephone and in person.
