Office Assistant II - Able to Obtain or Currently have a Secret Clearance

As a Office Assistant II you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.
Our work depends on Office Assistant II joining our team to provide direct administrative support as Training Support Staff members for the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering N7 (Training) department and support the Training Support Lead in the accomplishment of all assigned tasks.
HOW A OFFICE ASSISTANT II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Duties include, but are not limited to, transcribing and formatting meeting minutes, preparing and submitting monthly reports and invoices, entering data and formatting documents, performing final reviews and quality assurance inspections of all deliverables, providing media design/graphic and additional administrative assistance as needed.
Tasks must be completed efficiently and accurately to avoid rework.
Excellent written communication skills are a requirement of employment.
Must be highly proficient in the grammatical rules of the English language.
It is preferred, but not required, that candidates have a strong US Navy Personnel Specialist or Yeoman (or other service equivalent) background.
The preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Naval Correspondence Manual.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
Skills: Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Acrobat
Candidates must reside within commutable distance of Port Hueneme, CA.
Candidates must be a US citizen with a qualifying background investigation to meet eligibility requirements for a Common Access Card (CAC) and access to Government systems.
Candidate MUST be Able to Obtain a Secret Clearance or have a Secret Clearance is a plus.
