com (easy and free to post ads with no commitment required) and found that if you post with at least a week lead time you'll get very good bids for transport and that the shippers take very good care of the items they ship.
Make sure you explicitly state that you want them to ship a pinball machine.
I can remove the legs and the head, blanket wrap (shrink wrap) it, and have it ready for transport.
As long as it's written in your ad they will bid it correctly and do the job well!
At first, I was very hesitant to purchase pinball machines, because I felt overwhelmed by the notion of arranging shipment.

Jim's Moving Service in Newbury Park will charge about $200 and send out a couple of guys on short notice with a huge truck and liftgate and deliver within 10 miles or so with no issues.
