ANTIQUE BONNET-TOP SECRETARY DESK
Beautifully, handmade, mahogany, antique Secretary desk / escritoire, with a Queen Anne style arched, split bonnet top high boy.
The two door, upper bookcase has 2 widely spaced shelves, with plenty of storage.
The lower desk portion, has 3 wide pullout drawers, and behind the fold down desk surface are 6 small drawers and 2 open pockets.
All of the drawers have cast iron hinged, teardrop style drawer pulls, enabling them to be flipped up pull the drawers open.
All of the exterior doors/drawers have beautifully, ornate, hand carved, onlays.
The unit measures 39” wide 20” deep 7’ high.
Best intentions for this piece never came to fruition, and sadly it has been stored for quite some time.
