From stated on the box: --built to exacting specifications --cross chains and side chains are electrically welded for added strength -- hardened steel links are twisted to lie flat against tire, thus reducing tire ware We purchased these quality bar reinforced chains quite a few years ago when we needed them and they have been stored ever since, so they are pretty much in new condition, unlike the box which didn't fare as well.
We are preparing to downsize and we won't be driving in the snow anymore.
Aside from a little dust, they are pretty much like new.
We don't have any instructions or paperwork, but you should be able to get any of that, such as installing instructions online.
