About Honest Abe Cider:
Honest Abe, a leader in the craft cider and mead market, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Brand Development Representative to join our sales team.
This role is crucial for expanding our brand presence and ensuring the growth of our world-class cider brands in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Management: Develop a strategic sales plan for your territory to achieve targets.
Understand the craft cider market, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Customer Relationship Building: Strengthen relationships with existing customers (bars, restaurants, retailers) and prospect new accounts.
- Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our cider portfolio and educate customers and consumers on our products.
- Sales and Promotion: Conduct sales presentations, product tastings, and execute promotional events to increase brand visibility and sales.
- Order Management: Manage order entry and fulfillment plus monitor inventory levels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Maintain detailed sales records and generate performance reports.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing and production teams to align sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience in sales, preferably in the craft cider or beer industry.
- Strong understanding of the local market and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, management, or customer relations.
- Knowledge of distributor workings and key account contacts.
- Competence in computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
- Strong public speaking presence.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR).
Job Duties:
- Manage accounts to gain new distribution and drive rate of sale.
- Daily CRM reporting and distributor communication.
- Participate in wholesaler business planning meetings.
- Track sales program execution.
- Minimum of 40 account visits per week and working with Distributor Sales Force.
- Weekly activation in on/off-premise channels and attendance at events.
