The ABAP Developer 3 position is responsible for the development, support & maintenance of SAP ABAP programs in SAP/ECC.
An ABAP Developer will work closely with SAP Functional Analysts in developing the technical design for business requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Design, Develop, and maintain programs using the SAP development tools (ABAP, iDocs, BAPI, RFC, ABAP Dialog program, ABAP Object programming and SAP Workflow).
Design and Develop SAP Smart forms and Adobe Forms.
Provide cross-functional problem identification and resolution.
Leads and supports junior programmers.
Reviews designs of ABAP reports/programs for Performance tuning.
Troubleshooting / Debugging programs.
Lead small projects, gather business requirements and present technical solutions.
Work closely with customers to develop functional specs.
Translate these requests into technical requirements, and deliver optimized code to meet this spec.
Create Technical Documentation which can be easily used by more junior developers.

Deep understanding and experience with User-Exits, BADIs and enhancement points.

Mastery of ABAP Debugging and Performance Monitoring Tools.
