Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler

Job Overview: Seasonal Position for spring thru summer of 2024: Island Packers Reservationists provide excellent, timely customer service over the phone and in person.
They give information to potential guests that are looking to go to the Channel Islands National Park or Wildlife/Whale Watching Cruises as well as help to coordinate their best options for a trip.
Answer multiline telephones Give information.
Screen incoming calls for management.
Take boat reservations and send accurate email confirmation to customers.
Help customers at the counter throughout the day.
Acknowledge and greet them when they walk in Check in customers for their boat trip.
Perform general office duties throughout the day with other staff.
( ex: empty office trash, prep tickets for following day, change the phone recording, email correspondence, general cleaning, update trip schedules.
) Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Typing) Assist in gift shop to ring up sales of merchandise.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays and closing shifts up to 8 p.
m.
Assist others with projects Knowledge of the Channel Islands National Park is strongly preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Windows Based Software and Typing.
After the end of the term, there is option to rehire for full time year around position if available.
