Job Description
Hourly Wage: $20 - $23 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Job Description: Are you a people-person with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for creating memorable experiences? If so, we want you to join our team at Malibu Events as a Customer Service Agent! As the friendly face of our company, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their events exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:
Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and guests, providing assistance and information via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Address inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all.
Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination and execution of events, including setup, registration, and on-site support.
Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution and timely resolution of any issues that arise during events.
Reservation Management: Manage event reservations, ticketing, and RSVPs, maintaining accurate records and updating databases as needed.
Coordinate seating arrangements, transportation, and other logistical details to ensure smooth event operations.
Problem Resolution: Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues and concerns related to event planning, logistics, and execution.
Proactively identify potential problems and implement solutions to prevent disruptions and ensure client satisfaction.
Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients and attendees following events, soliciting input on their experience and satisfaction.
Use feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing future events and services.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the events team, including data entry, file management, and document preparation.
Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and other tasks as assigned to support efficient operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality, event management, or customer service is a plus.
2+ years of experience in customer service or event coordination roles, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
