The Blue and Emerald Iguana Inns of Ojai are now hiring for a part-time (potentially full time for the right person) Front Desk/Customer Innkeeping Associate to add to our tight-knit team.
The Iguanas are one-of-a- kind, locally owned boutique Inns.
We excel in providing a quality guest experience with detailed attention paid to room and property aesthetics, customer service, and cleanliness.
We are seeking an energetic, dependable and self-motivated employee to work alongside our experienced team.
Compensation is based on experience and ability.
Customer Service experience required, hotel experience is a plus.
There are a wide range of tasks required in this role including but not limited to:
Customer Service and Communication - Memorize detailed Property & Room information to efficiently Book Room Reservations and provide phone and in-person customers with genuine and friendly service.
Manage guest check in, check out, credit card processing, etc.
Answer phone inquiries and emails.
All in an efficient manner.
Quality Control - Must be in good health with ability to walk the property, and have an eye for detail to complete room and grounds quality checks, keep workspaces organized and pool and common areas clean and inviting .
Concierge Skills - Knowledge of Ojai is a major plus.
Otherwise an enthusiasm to learn about the town to assist our guests with their concierge needs.
Room Amenity Inventory - Track, report and stock inventory including in-room amenities and general supplies.
The job starts with assisting the current on-shift innkeepers in their daily duties listed above until training is complete and the new team member has a complete knowledge of the operations and property and room details.
Part Time to start.
Evening shifts from 2 to 9:30 pm, Weekend and Holiday availability a must.
