POSITION DETAILS

Looking for a candidate who can teach and has a strong background in theatre, during Spring Break in Santa Paula.
Be a part of an exciting, enrichment program nurturing TK-6th graders in advancing their abilities and providing them with a one-of-a-kind experience you can't get anywhere else.
If you are interested in becoming a teacher, working in STAR’s Spring Break setting is a great place to start!\*
* Available shifts 7:45 am- 12:45 pm and 12:15-5:15 pm
* Week 1 March 25-28
* Week 2 April 1-5
* $25 per hour
* Location: Santa Paula
Other responsibilities include:
* Supervising mealtime (Breakfast, Lunch, Supper)
* Supervising recess, including coming up with indoor activities during inclement weather
* Creating lesson plans before the program starts
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
* Experience teaching TK-6th grade students
* Must have Reliable Transportation
* Must be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
* CRP and First Aid Certified or willing to get certified
* Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels
* Ability to work in fast-pace environment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Independently Lead groups of up to 14 students from TK-6th grade
* Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management
* Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe, and enjoyable class experience for students
* Creative, artist thinking with the ability to do so under time constraints
* Create curriculum and execute them effectively
