There are YouTube videos showing how to troubleshoot and potentially fix this common issue, but for listing purposes, consider the tray non-operable.
All other features/controls on the Media Center work fine.
It does hum for a moment on power up as it detects the “stuck tray” condition, but once you’ve switched to Media Center to different input, that sound stops.
For practicality, if you have a separate CD/DVD player(s) with suitable Video/audio RCA outputs, you can input those signals into this system via the side jacks – and still enjoy the great system sound.
All other audio inputs/outputs/features/controls/speakers/remote were tested and operate fine.
Great sound! Minor scuffs from gentle use, but nothing impacting performance.
Some wall paint on cables in a couple places.
