This vintage Singer sewing machine cast iron base has not been refinished for the optimal rustic vibe and would look great in a cabin, farm, farmhouse, country store, cottage, Etc.
The cast iron base is in solid condition but could use a good cleaning and one of the caster wheels is missing.
It could be painted to better match your home decor or give it your own unique charm.
It would also look great if the top was replaced with a slab or reclaimed or live edge wood.
Today the use of treadle-powered machines is mostly relegated to hobbyists and historical re-enactors, as well as in areas of the developing world where other forms of power remain unavailable.
