It looks like someone has up-cycled it in the past by painting the edge of the rim and legs red.
Unfortunately there is a large split in the woof across the middle of the table top.
It could be left as is, supported with brackets on the bottom to keep the two pieces together, or it could be professionally repaired and restored.
