Rostar Filters, an Oxnard-based manufacturer of filtration products for passenger cars and commercial equipment, seeks a Finance and HR Manager.

The person in this position will be accountable for leading the Finance department which is responsible for creating and maintaining all financial, HR, safety, risk management, administrative, facilities, and IT processes.
Additionally, they will be accountable for KPIs(Key Performance Indicators) and driving improvements in those departments.
The person in this role will be responsible managing a team of 2 direct reports and reports to the COO.
Finance:
-Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and inventory, income and expense tracking.
-Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments and improved vendor relationships.
-Monitor accounts receivable, track invoices, and facilitate on-time payments for enhanced cash flow.
-Cash Flow Analysis, budgeting and forecasting
-Maintain business filings such as but not limited to Sales Tax, 1099s, SOS, 571L, City Business tax, and insurance
Human Resources and Safety:
- Recruiting and onboarding programs for new employees.
-Employee training programs, policy enforcement, reviews and feedback processes, and overall employee satisfaction
-Manage the offboarding process with professionalism, conducting exit interviews and facilitating knowledge transfer.
-Payroll and Benefits Administration
-Safety trainings, managing safety committee to identify and correct workplace hazards and overall safety compliance
Administration, facilities, and IT:
-Oversee facilities projects and maintenance to ensure a safe and well-maintained working environment
-Management of IT providers, ensuring employees have the proper IT tools and are trained on how to use them.
Required skills and Qualifications:
More than 5 years of experience in a management role for Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field -or- 2 years experience and Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
Knowledge of financial and employment regulations and compliance.
