Job Summary
We are seeking an outgoing and energetic Director to join our team! As the Activity Director, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and structured environment for program participants.
The ideal candidate will be patient, fun-loving, and have experience working with a diversity population.
Plans, coordinates, and carries out activities, including discussion and study groups, reading, gardening, games, exercise, art, music, creative ventures and religious and educational pursuits; assists in developing activity plans to carry out the goals of individual activity programs;
Responsibilities
Greet the participants and welcome participants into the center
Follow all program guidelines
Design and follow a schedule of activities
Respond to inquiries regarding the program
Adhere to strict safety guidelines
Communicate with the participants and the Program Director
Assessments/Initials
Qualifications
Team player
High School Diploma
Activity Director Certification
1 - 3 years working in a senior day care as an activity director
Bilingual Spanish/English
Good writing skills
Leadership and Management experience
