ON-SITE POSITION
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing warehousing, shipping, receiving, and handling of materials.
Supervises transport of materials to and from departments and ensures material needs are met throughout production.
Authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of a group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Manage daily inventory of all packing materials ranging from $500,000- $1,500,000 to ensure shipping, receiving, adjustments and internal location movements are reflected accurately and timely.
§ Design and generate weekly/monthly forecasts for all packaging material.
§ Work closely with Sales and Field Representatives to forecast all packaging materials.
§ Manage all in-BOM inventories.
§ Coordinate daily and weekly cycle counts with lead, investigate inventory variances and suggest corrective actions.
§ Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in D365.
§ Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
§ Work with the Inventory and Purchasing Departments to ensure that all materials are ordered.
§ Communicate with the production manager to ensure enough materials are available to fulfill customer orders.
§ Mitigating issues and conflicts with employees.
§ Communicate and promote objectives and goals for the department.
§ Ensure proper training is given to all personnel.
§ Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
§ Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience.
§ Knowledge of inventory management.
§ Bachelor’s Degree.
§ Knowledge of D365 is a plus.
§ Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
§ Advanced level of Excel skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work in cold conditions from 38°F to 50°F.
Fast paced cold and wet environment.
Food facility requires food safe behavior.
Ability to work for extended hours and shifts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting, pushing, pulling and grasping while standing and kneeling.
Lift 25 to 48 pounds for an 8-hour shift.
Able to perform the essential function of the job with or without accommodation.
