Sun Air Jets is currently seeking one (1) Captains Part 135/91Challenger 605 based in Camarillo, CA [CMA].
This is a 3-Pilot account with rotation.
Candidates are preferred to reside within a 2.
5/3-hour drivable commute distance to Camarillo.

Aircraft: Challenger 605
Position Type: Full-time

Operation: Part 135/91 Account; approximately 300 to 375 hours annually 3-pilot account
Compensation Range: PIC: $250,000 to $275,000

Minimum Requirements
• Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (CL605 REQUIRED)
• Obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical
• International Experience Required for PIC
• Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
• 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing
• 2000 hours Multi-Engine Land
• 3000 hours Pilot-in-Command
• 2000 hours Turbojet
• 2500 Turbine Time
• 250 hours in type (CL604/605) is preferred.
• 250 hours Night
• 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument
• 5 years of aviation experience or more
• Must be able to work flexible schedules (Including holidays & weekends)
• Willing and able to travel worldwide extensively, without any restrictions ICAO.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for safe operation of the Challenger 605 aircraft
• Responsible for conducting flights in a safe manner in accordance with, but not limited to the following items:
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft
• The conduct of a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
• A complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports
• Ensure the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Sun Air Jets and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew
• Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with Sun Air Jets current policy and procedures.
When performing duties as the pilot-in-command (PIC):
• Final authority for the operation of the aircraft assigned.
• Responsible for safe and efficient transport of passengers and crew.
• Authority to delay, cancel or discontinue a flight when conditions are unsuitable for the conduct or continuation of the flight.
• Authority to indicate a change in the planned flight during the flight when such a change is appropriate for the safe operation of the aircraft.
• Responsible for flight planning and coordinating changes in the flight schedule.
• Institute all necessary changes as required by en-route conditions such that the flight may continue under appropriate procedures and rules.
• Responsible for conducting the flight in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with company policies, Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and Department of Homeland Security regulations required of the flight operation.
• Ensures adherence to Sun Air Jets policies, procedures, and company manuals.
• Participate in the company aviation safety program (SMS), taking an active role supporting the open sharing of information on all safety issues and reporting all safety hazards and concerns.
Flight crews are trained with CAE/Flight Safety every 6 or 12 months.
Sun Air Jets operates a fleet of aircraft worldwide and is certified as Wyvern Wingman, Argus Platinum and audited by the Air Charter Safety Foundation and IS-BAO.
Positions in this classification are considered safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.
