Job Title: Aircraft (Logistics/Hazmat/IMRL) Maintenance 4 Job Code: 8377 Job Location: Point Mugu, CA Schedule: 5/8s Clearance: Must Have a Secret Clearance to Be Considered This position does require an active SECRET security clearance to apply.
Additionally, can only be a US Citizen.
No dual citizenship.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Logistics Field Service Representative that can accomplish a variety of logistics tasks such as supply support, Hazardous Material Control Management, IMRL, and tool management.
The ideal candidate should have experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA and be familiar with current military logistics support concepts and processes.
They will also perform towing, marshalling, and positioning of aircraft on flight line.
You will demonstrate success by: Having logistics/Hazmat/IMRL experience with: P-8, 737, or other relevant Naval aircraft.
Processing and track supply requisitions received by the work centers and maintain an up to date inventory and status of all parts on hand.
Compile and release required reports has required by the customer and the program office.
Interface with program office and customer, as directed concerning maintenance issues and assist in developing corrective action plans when requested.
Provide data input to applicable databases to maintain accurate record keeping.
Performs duties associated with Hazardous Material Control Management.
Performs Hazardous Material Control planning and management of material handling equipment.
Responsible for inventorying, receiving, transferring, and properly turning in all used and excess Hazardous Materials from all Navy commands.
Must be able to assemble close tolerance parts and use common hand tools.
Must be able to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and aircraft tow vehicles.
Must complete a flight line physical.
Must be able to climb, including ladders, stairs, and portable stands and navigate these without assistance.
Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, chemicals, odor, and dust.
Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Must wear approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work schedule can be 7 days a week, up to 20% overtime, and travel up to 25% to support the Mission.
Qualifications: Associates degree + 8 years of logistics/IMRL experience.
May substitute education with an additional 2 years related experience and a High School diploma / GED.
Must have a current Secret clearance.
Experience with Navy Supply system and NALCOMIS/OOMA Experience in managing IMRL, hazmat/AUL, Funding and any other related US Navy Aviation logistics programs.
