This beautiful 2015 Can Am Spyder RT-S Special series needs a new owner to take it out of the barn.
With less than 7,000 miles on the odometer it has plenty of life left in it and it is ready for your next adventure.
The semi-automatic transmission makes riding a breeze.
Use the pushbutton shifter to shift up and as you slow down the bike will automatically downshift for you, it has no clutch lever and the single brake pedal also keeps things in control as you slow down.
This is much simpler to ride and control than a typical motorcycle.
Lets not forget about the other features on this bike/trike.
An electrically controlled windscreen means you can easily make adjustments to the windscreen height with the touch of a button while traveling on the interstate or carving the mountain roads.
While carving those mountain roads you can also adjust the suspension with the touch of a different button.
When it gets cooler, turn on the heated grips to keep your hands warm and make other riders jealous.
Your passenger also has heated hand grips to keep their hands toasty.
But wait, there’s more! Do you like lighting to see and be seen? Standard fog lights are included to help you see when the local marine layer rolls in or just as another set of lights for other drivers to see you with.
Additional accent lighting has been added to the front fenders, providing additional turn and brake lights, again providing more opportunities to be seen by others on the road.
When you go to the local bike night and really want to show off turn on the hidden led lights using the LEDGlow app and change colors and patterns as you see fit.
But you’re buying this bike to ride and explore with friends.
As if the seat wasn’t comfortable enough, there is a custom backrest with matching stitching to maintain the look of the bike while increasing your comfort even more.
A hardwired intercom and CB radio are already installed so you can easily communicate with others that need to stop before you.
When your friends stop yapping you can still rock out to whatever music you want thanks to the standard AM/FM/Weatherband radio.
The book says this thing has 5.
5 cubic feet of storage and I’ll admit, I’ve never cut a foot into a cube to see if it is accurate but I can tell you that between the saddlebags, trunk, front truck, and glove box you can store enough for a weeklong trip, possibly more if you pack well.
Just in case you think that’s not enough space we’ve also installed a trailer hitch and wiring harness so you can pull a small house if needed and bring home everything you purchased at the bike rally or while you were on the road.
If you go places where it rains fear not, there is an unused full cover in the saddlebag to keep the bike dry for you.
Organizers have been added to the dash as well as the trunk area so you don’t have to dig far for items you want nearby when you stop for gas.
As you can see from the low mileage, we didn’t use this as much as we would have hoped.
It is on a battery tender and does get driven at least every other month for short trips but it pains us to see such a capable machine not getting miles put on it.
You’ve read this far, do the right thing and rescue this bike so it can stretch its legs and see the outdoors.
We’ll include the battery tender as well but hope you only use it for short periods of time.
Price is negotiable, but with low miles you shouldn't lowball the offer.
