The Pearson Ariel was created as a follow-up to the popular Pearson Triton.
The Ariel is a smaller, more maneuverable boat while retaining the comfort and amenities introduced by the Triton: 5'10" headroom, berths for four, a sink, icebox, freshwater tank and private head.

In 2021 all rigging replaced with new hayn turnbuckles stainless wire rope and Sta-Lock compression fittings, the mast was sanded, painted, new LED spreader lights mounted, new VHF antenna, new halyards, new main halyard sheeve and jib halyard block, new LED mast-head anchor and tri-color light and new wind vane.
During the 2021 mast refurbish, the mast step and strong back were replaced with an oversized beam sealed with epoxy and fiberglassed.
This Pearson Ariel is a strong cruiser and well equipped serious coastal sailing.
Like all of Alberg’s designs she has a reputation for seaworthiness.
The original fuse box was replaced with modern marine breakers.
This vessel is also federally documented with an active Certificate of Documentation.

This boat was sailed single-handed from Oak Harbor, WA to Lewiston Idaho, San Francisco, around Point Conception then to Long Beach.
I purchased the boat with a friend in 2019 and have sailed the California coast from Santa Barbara to San Diego and several of the Channel Islands since then.
It is a great, seaworthy boat and a joy to sail.
