2004 MVAgusta SPR #133
This bike has had a tumultuous past, and with that I think it's only right to be as honest as possible.
No hidden things here.
Everything I know about this bike will be laid out as it is.
The asking price is a reflection of its past history, but not on how it performs today.
It truly is a awesome track bike, rides straight as an arrow, and handles really well.
Ive spent a lot of time tunning the suspension to my weight and type of riding.
Will be sold with A LOT of parts and SPR original items.
So here it goes: This SPR was purchased new by the first owner and crashed within its first 1100 miles (I have the original tach to verify mileage).
It was in pounded, put into storage.
A few years later made its way to a collector, who wanted to rebuild it.
A good friend of mine, saw it one day in a corner of the collectors shop and told him, when you are ready to sell it, I'll buy it from you.
A few years later pass, and my friend gets the call.
Purchases this SPR, along with all the parts for a rebuild.
New forks, tank, subframe, body was sent to get repainted, some new fairings where sourced, etc.
Frame sent to a frame doctor (but I dont have the receipt for this one).
When my friend showed it to me, I then told my friend when he is ready to sell.
.
.
let me know! fast forward 2018, I get the call.
Went and picked it up that day! Its been mine since, it has a new-used dash that marks 2341miles.
Ive only and exclusively used it as a track bike.
Legally- it has a salvage title.
To title anything salvage in California, the motorcycle HAS to have more than 7500 miles.
So the attendant gracefully changed a digit from 1900 to 7900 miles.
So within the DMV the bike will show a higher mileage count, just so it could get titled.
I'd estimate the bike having 1500 miles or so.
The title is with me, and under my name.
Registration is set as NON-OP.
NO fees on this bike, pay registration, throw some mirrors and the license plate and youre ready for street riding.
Physically- it has never been down since me and my friend have owned it.
So since its rebuild.
As mentioned, it was used as my track day bike, of which I was doing 2 track days a year, until 2 years ago when I lost steam.
The fairings are repainted, I have installed black seats from a 1000, but the silver SPR seat and cowl cushion are included.
Wheels where powdercoated to a satin bronze, has CNC rearsets, AEM 45 rear sprocket, 1 track day on the D&D gold chain, 1 track day on Brembo T slot front rotors + EBC HH brake pads, Renthal grips, Arrow E3 exhaust is cored out, oberon water pump with the added propellers, oberon master cyclinder with 1 track day on it.
ECU comes with the correct SPR chip, screw on gas cap.
Samco silicone cooling lines in black, currently running water wetter only.
Rear cowl has a painted yellow panel by previous owner.
