Leasing Consultant

We are seeking an engaging, energetic Leasing Consultant that will be responsible for general leasing and supporting the Property Manager in all aspects of operations.
Responsibilities * Show and lease available apartments.
* Post and monitor ads daily * Answer the telephone and practice professional leasing techniques.
* Have a good understanding of the market area where the community is located and stay up to date on market conditions.
* Keep accurate records of resident and property activities.
* Process applicants' paperwork including applications, proof of income, credit, and background checks, following company policies and procedures * Conduct move-in for new residents * Collect and record rents and deposits.
* Comply with Fair Housing Laws.
* Perform any and all functions as requested by the Community Manager in addition to those outlined.
Minimum Requirements: * Possess a valid driver’s license and an insured, operable vehicle.
* 2+ years experience in property management with a strong preference for experience at larger properties.

* Yardi or industry-related software is a strong plus.
* Marketing savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel.
* Must be available to work weekends.
* Spanish speaking a strong plus.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
