Pre-Owned Automotive Assistant Manager

Our growing dealership seeks an automotive pre-owned sales assistant who's eager to assist in the purchasing, merchandising, and trading of the used car inventory.

In this role, you'll actively participate in buying and selling vehicles to help the sales team meet their sales goals.
The assistant will be responsible for 2 Mazda locations.
South Bay Mazda and Oxnard Mazda.
The assistant will work directly with the General Manager at both locations.

Compensation: $60,000 - $102,000 yearly Responsibilities: Support the sales staff in meeting or exceeding sales goals by providing sales training to drive best practices in follow-up communication, and closing deals Direct day-to-day showroom operations to establish a positive environment for customers and employees, alike Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all auto sales to increase retention and referrals to drive repeat car sales Participate actively in the recruiting process to hire automotive sales representatives for all positions Help auto group exceed profitability goals by tracking progress to monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts Qualifications: Stellar organizational, computer, leadership, financial, sales management, and interpersonal skills are crucial Have a strong working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting vehicle sales and the automotive industry, as a whole 5+ years of experience in an automotive dealership setting, with a minimum of one year serving in a sales management capacity, is desired Possess a valid driver’s license Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent - highly qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree Must have used car management experience About Company Oxnard Mazda is a busy multi-dealership family-owned franchise.
