Located in business-friendly Camarillo, CA, at Camarillo Traders we specialize in the sale of Modern, Vintage & Antique Firearms, Militaria, Modern and Vintage Edged Weapons, Vintage Collectibles and Rustic Ephemera.
Our emphasis is in conducting sales through 3rd party online auctions, with limited in-person transactions (by appointment).
Our management can boast over 40-years of firearms industry experience, as well as 25-years spent managing online auctions.
This experience gives us the leadership & know-how to successfully market even the most esoteric collectibles.
Camarillo Traders is actively seeking an associate for our online sales department.
The ideal candidate should have excellent written language skills and be able to eloquently convey accurate and succinct product descriptions.
Candidates should be computer literate and must be comfortable with Microsoft Office programs.
Familiarity with digital photography and Adobe photo-shop would be a definite plus as would having a wide-ranging knowledge of firearms and/or collectibles.
A candidate's primary duties involve the listing of merchandise on 3rd party marketplace facilitator websites such as eBay and Gunbroker.
Additional duties may involve the filling of orders and occasional stocking, which may require light lifting.
There is also the possibility of assisting with product photography.
Candidates will be exposed to and gain knowledge about an expansive range of unique and collectible merchandise, ranging from the ordinary to the truly extraordinary, making this an ideal position for the enthusiast.
Candidates must be able to legally handle firearms.
All candidates must apply for and be issued a CA Certificate of Eligibility.
Our ideal candidate would be a self-starter with excellent writing skills and a solid foundation with firearms or related paraphernalia.
While encyclopedic knowledge is not a requirement, candidates must be comfortable researching collectible items.
Prior experience in firearm sales and/or conducting online auction sales would be considered a plus.
Camarillo Traders operates Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
We are not a traditional retail environment, and while we do occasionally have walk-in traffic, most of our operations take place mostly in a traditional office setting.
