The Manager/Sr.
Manager, International Sales will be assigned international territories to manage and be responsible for territory planning, sales performance, distributor relationship building, and collaborating with partners and international team members about marketing and education needs per territory.
This is a full-time employee position with quarterly commission and bonus potential.
This position based at headquarters in Ventura, CA with regular international travel as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a minimum 18 distributor accounts (mix of A,B,C,D accounts), as well as direct retail accounts (i.
e.
Harvey Nichols) in the UK market.
• In collaboration with distributors and International Marketing, develop annual sales and marketing plan per market, and roll out and execute plans on time and to budget.
• Manage sales orders vs.
targets and communicate with distributors to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual targets are achieved, and any sales gaps are filled.
• Facilitate product launches and ensure marketing programs and initiated in an effort to grow existing product categories and ultimately, brand sales.
• Manage and grow relationships with key contacts in each market, earning trust by helping to grow their business in responsible ways, utilizing brand learnings and marketing best practices.
• Per budget and need: Visit markets to understand the business, opportunities, develop relations with key players, confirm brand presence and positioning.
• Utilize tools such as Power BI (internal tool) to report on account performance at end of each month and quarter.
• Manage and coordinate educational needs in key markets with educators and distributors, bearing in mind priority of acct and budget constraints.
• Manage needs for launch events in key markets as needed, keeping in mind budgetary constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in premium beauty; cosmetics or skincare
• International marketing experience, developing, tracking, and achieving marketing goals, a plus.
Senior Manager, International Sales
• Experience in developing sales plans to drive growth in Spa, Medical, Salon, or Retail channels a must.
• International experience (living in or working with international markets), and cross-cultural sensitivity required.
• Should have an energetic, positive, and service-oriented personality, and skilled at relationship-building and problem solving.
• Passionate about beauty products, international markets, and global brand development.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
