The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a field role that acts as ODU-USA, Inc.
's main point of contact and representative for all customers located within their designated region of the United States/North America.
The RSM's main objective is to increase sales for ODU.
The RSM works with the Vice President of Sales, District Sales Manager, and Application Center to set and achieve corporate sales goals and objectives.
The RSM works out from home office within the defined region of responsibility.
The RSM is required to travel 50%+ of each month, including internationally, when part of the RSM's defined region.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership to manufacturers’ representatives within the region to achieve the company's sales goals.
Uses all available resources the company offers to promote the ODU brand in the region.
Develops strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory and core markets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads.
Builds and maintains a robust sales pipeline, managing all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
Clearly and accurately reports the regional activities, customer opportunities and business within the region on weekly basis.
Provides technical support to customers, including product recommendations, troubleshooting, and application assistance in partnership with ODU SME.
Stays up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products in the market.
Forms key relationships both internally and externally with customers and suppliers.
Provides sales forecast for assigned region on monthly and quarterly basis.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
Conducts customer visits, meetings, and presentations to promote our products, address customer concerns, and negotiate contracts.
Collaborates with customers to understand their needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Bachelor's in science degree or equivalent degree/experience.
Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience.
Strong technical acumen and ability to understand industrial processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and build long-lasting relationships.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients within the assigned territory.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Requirements
Connector experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP.

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 USD + variable compensation; however, ODU considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
