We seek a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Truck Sales Manager to join our team.
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the sales efforts of all vehicle sales.
We have fun on the job! You will enjoy working at Donahue Truck Centers, and the Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm shift is hard to find.
You don't need to work those awful late hours or weekends anymore.
You must complete all Indeed 3 audio questions that require you to record your voice to answer questions asked and complete both Indeed skills tests.
If you submit a resume without recording your voice on 3 questions or completing 2 skills tests, your resume will not be considered.
*Responsibilities:* * Vehicle sales directly with customers or through a salesperson * Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets * Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial market * Build and maintain relationships with dealership partners and key decision-makers * Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients * Collaborate with internal teams to provide sales support and ensure customer satisfaction * Upsell additional products or services to existing clients * Utilize effective phone etiquette to engage with prospects and customers * Administration of all vehicle sales from paperwork, sales orders, financing flooring, and final documents * Ensure accurate sales figures based on proper sales tax rates, DMV, financing, and costs * Lead, train, and motivate one salesperson and access future needs of additional salespeople at other locations * Establish sales goals and objectives for the team * Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management * Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand customer base * Negotiate contracts with customers and ensure profitable deals are closed * Maintain strong relationships with key clients and provide exceptional customer service * Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions * Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective promotional campaigns * Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities * Review the proper cost and revenues booked on deals to ensure profitability on each vehicle sale * Market and advertise truck sales opportunities in digital and print format * Track and manage vehicle inventory * Setup and explain financing to customers *Requirements:* * Proven experience in automotive sales or related industry * Familiarity with commercial dealership operations and market trends * Strong ability to upsell and negotiate effectively * Excellent math skills for pricing calculations and financial analysis * Bilingual language skills (preferred) * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities * Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth * In-depth knowledge of the commercial truck industry and market trends * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving goals * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Proven record in building and maintaining customer relationships * A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required *About Us:* * Donahue Truck Centers is an authorized dealer for Hino Trucks, a Toyota Group Company serving California’s Central Coast, Central Valley, North Bay, and Wine Country.
