If you are an individual that works with precision and attention to detail and want to be a part of a team that is trusted worldwide, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a *Production Molding Technician* that will be responsible for over molding products.
Your role is integral to our production processes.
*To perform this job successfully, a brief overview of preferred experience, competency and qualifications for this role are listed below; * * Read work orders, drawings, and select and assemble the correct tooling (mold) sections for items to be molded*.
* * Prepare cables for over-molding, including cable jacket, add primers.
* Prepare molding material according to specifications.
* Inject the mold with Polyurethane molding material.
* Apply the correct combination of molding variables, including clamp pressure, injection pressure, temperature, time, etc.
, to achieve optimal results.
Record applied molding variables.
* Perform preliminary quality control checks, recording the quantity of, and reasons for, any rejected parts.
* Follow technician documents / customer requirements and ensure all standards are achieved where precision and attention to detail are critical.
* Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or *3 – 5 years* of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
*3 – 5 years* of molding (or similar discipline) experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
_*Preferred*_*:* Certifications: IPC-610 certification, J-STD-001 Class 3 certification, and WHMA-A-620-A Class 3 certification.
ABS Testing experience, Complex Build in GRE, Complex Poly Molding, Light Assembly.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.
