Our facility in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Harnessing Technician specializing in harnessing and related electrical assembly and test, with aerospace industry experience working on small, medium and/or large government and commercial programs.
Primary Responsibilities: Will be reviewing, interpreting, maintaining, and completing paperwork and electronic data associated with hardware assemblies to maintain data and material traceability.
Will be working with electrical harness assemblies, including interpreting schematics and building compliant electrical assemblies as well as conducting electrical tests such as continuity and insulation resistance.
Will be routing wiring harnesses on flight hardware.
Will follow procedure and direction from management as well as work from drawings or sketches, and collaborate with engineers to develop or proof new processes.
Will work with soldering, wire stripping, contact crimping, contact insertion and removal, harness routing and strain relief.
Will work with structural bonding and application of coatings using various epoxy and silicone adhesive products.
Working level understanding of force, torque, and precision hand tools.
Work to follow and determine, optimum order of assembly for complex harnesses, mechanical structures, and devices.
Basic Qualifications for level 2: High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of additional education and/or related experience US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance Ability to read, write and work to instructions written in English.
Ability read and follow directions on engineering drawings and Schematics Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds Ability to be on feet for up to various hours each day Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and different shifts based on demanding manufacturing schedules Basic Qualifications for level 3: High school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of additional education and/or related experience US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance Ability to read, write and work to instructions written in English.

4 Certification (expired okay- current preferred) Knowledge of ESD and Flight Hardware handing Demonstrated Mechanical Ability Familiarity with solar cell technology and CIC wiring Proficient use of basic shop arithmetic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Initiative, self-starter, adaptable, and high motivation for excellence Salary Range: $53,000 - $88,300 Salary Range 2: $62,900 - $104,900 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
